The area

Both stage locations (Gabellino/Prata and Celle sul Rigo) are situated in Tuscany (centre of Italy).

1. GABELLINO/PRATA

We are close to the seaside with beautiful places like Cala Violina, Castiglione della Pescaia, cities like Grosseto, Follonica or Piombino who organize very regularly salsa parties as well (interesting for us!) and nice beaches (Cala Violina, Torre Mozza, Follonica itself).

We'll be staying at different locations, all very close to one another. The classes will take place

More than worth a visit (and very close to our stage locations) are places like Massa Marittima (beautiful medieval city), Populonia, the abbey of San Galgano.

The same thing can of course be said about the famous cities of Siena (50km away), Volterra or San Gimignano (both a bit less than 70km away). Even Florence is only 1h45min away. And these are only some of the more known places. Not without reason the region of Tuscany is considered to have more historic and cultural patrimonium than most large countries have.

2. CELLE SUL RIGO

Celle sul Rigo is a very small village near Chianciano Terme (about 10km) in the middle of the 'Val d'Orcia' area. Esthetically fantastic landscape (the moon like hills) that has been classified by UNESCO as one of the 'World Heritage Sites'. Apart from the landscape, the mighty Monte Amiata, there are many towns like Pienza, Montalcino or Radicofani that are worth a visit.

We will all stay in "agriturismo Il Poggio", a big domain producing wine, oil, olives, but also housing visitors, there's a horse riding structure ... Very beautiful place with two swimming pools, excellent kitchen, breakfast, lunch and dinner with a fantastic view ...

Tuscany is also famous for its nature and climate: the sea, the hills, the olive trees, sunflowers, pine trees, lines of cypresses, the idyllic landscapes. And the good thing is: it's all true :-).

Italy and Tuscany in particular are of course also worldwide known for the 'good life': fantastic food, friendly people, 'low stress environment' in general :-). An ideal place in other words for a great dance holiday.
